Yes! Hayleigh is home and enjoying it! She is unfortunately awaiting another surgery in a couple of weeks for having her tonsils, adenoids and ear tubes placed. We are going to talk w/ the ENT doctor tomorrow and discuss. If I get my way (which we all know how that typically goes) hopefully we will be in the hospital next week Tuesday.
I must tell you this little girl has really ministered to me after learning what she lives through everyday. She can't breathe and yet she still smiles and enjoys life. The child only fusses about two things: 1. change my diaper 2. feed me some food. Otherwise she just smiles and goes w/ the flow. It wasn't until the Sweet Potatoes experience (it was more like a bath in them) that I got it! My new mantra for life is "Enjoy the sweet potatoes!"(others may choose to say stop and smell the roses) The picture below will forever be burned in my mind along w/ watching her devour 2 jars of the stuff. The child loves food (she comes by that naturally!). Michelle and I have said from the beginning that this little girls is special, but did not realize just how much God could use her to change my life, wow!
In closing, I guess I would like to encourage us all to try and slow down, take in the beauty of things around us, smile a little more, be excited and grateful for all the wonderful colors, smells and tastes in this life experience that God has allowed us to! Do it from that child-like disposition (maybe you too need to get your next meal all over you and start to live again) and take things in as if it were your first time again!
Thanks for your continued support and prayers as they make a difference. Look forward to hearing from you all. May God richly bless you and keep you.
Remember: ENJOY THE SWEET POTATOES!

Great to hear Hayleigh is doing well. There are some things only God can do and allow others to do by His hand. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
