IT'S ALL DONE AND ALL GOOD!

She is "back in baby's arms" sing w/ me now...(ok, well she back in my baby's (Michelle's)arms again and that is a REALLY GOOD THING! The report from Dr. Grifka was she did great! Everything is as good as could be given her heart condition. She is getting good blood flow through the narrowed part of her heart near the pulmonic valve that leads to her lungs. The arteries in the lungs are developing good. (Important for her ability to keep up w/ oxygen demand when she becomes more active, yeah!) God is good! (all the time) All the time! (God is good) Even when things are bad He is still good! "Amen" Dr. Grifka said that her vitals during the procedure normal. She had a scalp IV done as her only casualty! (mommy did not like that as much)

It appears now that Hayleigh will be needing to have surgery scheduled within a relatively short period of time to remove the adenoids and put the tubes in her ears by Dr. Scalf. (I know I used the term relative, but it is all I know as we have not discussed details w/ Dr. as to when, I assume in the next couple of weeks.) Not sure when we will be going home as of yet, possibility of tonight, but definitely tomorrow! She will let us know when. Right now she is on every half hr vitals and progress to every hr for several hrs. Hayleigh is managing her own air way as the picture below will show. (it is supposed to be blow by oxygen, mommy and I are getting our fair share of oxygen as well. One would think the oxygen tubing was alive and attempting to attack her!)

Well we shall report more as we discover more! Thanks once again for praying us through!

stay tuned...
