GOIN HOME! (cue the Daughtry song please!)

I'm going home,
Back to the place where I belong,
And where your love has always been enough for me.
I'm not running from.
No, I think you got me all wrong.
I don't regret this life I chose for me.
But these places and these faces are getting old
So I'm going home.
Well I'm going home.

Yeah! Keep singing it everyone! Oh yeah!!! We are blown away by the healing power of God! The great sacrifice you all made praying, spending time encouraging us through your postings and emails! Please keep checking the Blog for further updates. We are planning to keep things going for a long time to show her continued progress, plus Michelle and I are discussing an idea we may start implementing to "pay it forward" as we realize we are unable to "pay it back"; more to come in a future blog!

Yes, Hayleigh is going home on her first birthday and we get to p/u her grandma from California tomorrow afternoon! YEAH!!!! We are all anxiously awaiting her arrival! It is rare for me (just as my wife and parents) but I am truly speechless to just how wonderful this has been from the Hospital staff, Ronald Mcdonald House, new friends (Jason and Angela Pannecouk, see Ella's blog on our site) and ALL of YOU! I am astonished and amazed by the power of God to work through all of you! You and the staff here are all the more evidence to a loving God who hears our prayers and works in the lives of His people. AMEN!

Please enjoy the photos (see below) to follow. I do want to say a special thanks to Dixie for helping Papa with the "Hayleigh Wall" in his office filled w/ her phots!

Will post again soon!

Until next time...

Happy Birthday Hayleigh! I'm so glad you guys get to go home. I know we won't be here to much longer either. I can't wait until we can get together again. It was so great having you guys around through this time. God works in such awesome ways He knows what we need and fulfills those needs. See you soon.

Congratulations Alber family and Happy Birthday Hayleigh! Not knowing what you've gone through personally, I can only pray that the worst is behind you. God is good, and thankfully kids are so much tougher than we give them credit for. Ms. Hayleigh is a fighter and luckily so are her mom and dad. I'm so happy that everyone is doing well. My heart goes out to you all and I wish you the brightest of futures.
