"S" Day Is Finally Scheduled

Hello all! Yes, we have a scheduled day for the big surgery we all have known was coming, but like any parent you hope it keeps on waiting and waiting. The wait is over! Hayleigh Joy is going for heart surgery on June 12th at approx. 7am with pre-op testing and possible admission on June 11th. We saw the heart doc yesterday and because she had 2 TET SPELLS (when her lips, cheeks and tongue turn a blue color) lasting less than 30 seconds in past 5 wks, they do not wish to take any more chances with her having further tet spells that could be more serious.

This is God's timing I tell you because we will be able to celebrate Chelsea's 7th B-Day on the 8th and then have the surgery done. This also allows some healing time to pass before my brothers (Tony) wedding in mid July.

Please be in prayer for the surgeon Dr. Hilman and all the supporting staff as we approach that day. The surgery is better than 96% successful. I will have more updates to come as we get closer to the "S" day, including details of what they are going to repair.
