Hello everyone!
As you can see from the photo "only scars" remain to tell the story of the miracle child. Her last scab fell off during her bath time yesterday. Pain does not appear to be an issue anymore. We might still be dealing with a light case of thrush. She had a low grade fever for a couple of days that has resolved. We think it is related to her teething, but we probably will see Dr. Windler (pediatrician) to make sure she is ok!
Little boober wasn't taking her meds very well while the fever was going on. Talk about frustrating daddy! You had to practically wear a face shield and be armed with napkins and "wet ones" to engage in the battle! Thank GOD, she is taking her meds like a big girl now!!!!!!!!!!!! (yes i felt the need to emphasize my excitement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Her appetite is good, but we are finding it hard to feed her because she still does not have any teeth! She wants to eat the "big people" food, but we know that she continues to choke on it because she can't break it down well enough. We keep praying for those sucker (i mean chompers) to break thru and allow the fun to begin. She really enjoys a good PB&J. Maybe it is cause her daddy makes a pretty mean one, I mean the kind u need to cleanse after eating, LOADED.
Well I believe that is all the excitement for now. We are going out to the lake this Saturday (weather permitting; of course there is ALWAYS the "chance" for rain in this state), as the locals here will say (in that nasal sounding tone) "THAT'S MICHIGAN" (pronounced MEESHAGIN).
Until next time...
