Where has the summer gone?!!! (Oh yeah) There was a surgery (major), Grandma Taylor-Thompson, a wedding (i mean weddings), work and a surprise guest (Grandpa Taylor) who is here indefinitely with the possibility of beginning a new life for himself here. This is our families way to sorta "pay it forward" as sooooo many wonderful family and friends here helped us when we moved back here. (THANKS TO ALL OF U)
Well Hayleigh Joy is doing wonderful! We are anticipating a routine visit on September 10th with Dr. Grifka and anticipate going to a t 6 month visit followed by a yearly visit after that. She then should be on yearly ekg, echocardiogram, chest xray and labs.
Hayleigh still does not have any teeth. (Aaargh) The kid really wants to advance to "big" people food. Finding it a challenge to feed her foods that keep her full long enough. We are onto whole milk and no more formula (HALLELUJAH) that stuff is expensive, wow! We thought the cost of milk was expensive before we switched from formula, now it is not that bad after all! I pray it doesn't get to $20 + a gallon.
