Hayleigh and the rest of us have been really busy since we got home. Daily medicines, eating, xtra diaper changes (thanks to Lasix!), family/friends visiting, wedding and follow up Dr. visits! (Phew!)
Everything looks great according to the good Dr. Grifka (cardiologist); the only prescription we got from him and I quote, "take her home and love her to pieces." Look at that face! Does anyone think it will be hard to accomplish that? ( I didn't think so)
I have included som pictures from the wedding for Tony and Julie (brother and now sister-n-law). Hayleigh's steri-strips on her chest are all off and her healing continues to be just beautiful. We are finishing tomorrow the last of her Nystain for the oral thrush. (thank you Jesus!) We are expected to decrease her Lasix and Enalapril meds the first of August. Pain does not appear to be much of an issue for her w/ respect to her post op, but we think the teething has begun.
