End of Post-op day 2

Hayleigh is doing well. Still on the vent, but appears more comfortable. Planning to begin weaning her off the vent tomorrow night into the following day. Cardiac function is improved and peeing normal. Low grade temp of 100.4 +/- a little. Tylenol helping! The Doctors will round on her in the am and plan to remove a line that is measuring her left atrium pressure that has a risk for bleeding so they will sedate her for it and keep her still for at leas 1hr following. If no bleeding then they should begin to wean her off the vent. Yeah! The Physician believes that her moving around more is related to the tube in her nose/throat and believes that once we get rid of it she will calm down and begin making huge strides towards recovery.

Thanks again for all the words of encouragement and continued prayer support! Keep it up!!!!
Very excited for tomorrow, our 3 other girls are coming w/ my most awesome (did I just type that?!) parents to stay over night!!!! Can't wait to see them. Will have plenty of pix for you all.

One final note: to left of the blog is a link to an online photo album of Hayleigh. They are all the pictures that have been posted on the blog. So enjoy!

Until next time...
