Hayleigh is still doing well. No major changes in her appearance from last night to today. She is moving around more than they would like for her healing so they are upping her sedation meds. Her blood pressure is a tich too high so they are slowly tweaking the meds to bring that down, but the meds for sedation are causing bp to raise. They also placed on Lasix (diuretic) to help her pee! They are slowly increasing that as well. They are going to pull out LAP wire that measures the left ventricle around 4p today. They are concerned for bleeding when that happens so she will have to be sedated for at least an hour after they pull it out. Her Coagulation labs and Hemoglobin look good so she is not at risk for bleeding.
Mommy and I are doing well. Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome I think set in a little this am for me! (smile) Let's suffice it to say, Mommy was pleased when I left the room to regroup! (laugh) Time alone in prayer, "I'm sorry" and a cup of coffee(for mommy) later, all is great! (just keeping it real, ya know?) Most people would probably choose to leave this stuff out, but my purpose to inform people and help make praying more specific, right? (yes that means u need to pray specifically for me! We all know mommy's do no wrong, right?!) (smile)
OK, well I think we are heading back to check in on our little BOOBER, so we will update later.
